HKUMed is a leading institution in medical education and research, and we are now seeking exceptional candidates to join our faculty as Tenure-Track Clinical Professors.
Disciplines and RequirementsWe are looking for candidates with a specialist registration with the Hong Kong Medical Council or eligibility to apply for Certification of Specialist Registration. A higher academic qualification, such as an MD, MS, or PhD, is preferred. The successful candidates will have a distinguished record of high-quality research, clinical excellence, and international recognition for scholarship and professional expertise.
Responsibilities and ExpectationsAppointees will be mapped to relevant departments and take up key roles in achieving the highest standard of quality in teaching, research, and clinical programs. They will foster academic collaboration within and outside the Faculty/University and pursue new strategic directions for departmental development. They may be assigned to discharge duties at hospital(s) and clinic(s) affiliated with HKU Health System.
Benefits and CompensationA highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. A contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme will also be provided. A monthly cash allowance and housing benefits will be offered as applicable.
