Production Assistant

Olympia, a leading third-generation family business with over 80 years of experience in the metal recycling industry, is seeking a dynamic Material Sorter to join our team.

This pivotal position involves undertaking various tasks that are essential to maintaining our productivity and efficiency. As a Material Sorter, you will play a critical role in our day-to-day operations, ensuring a smooth workflow and contributing to environmental sustainability goals.

1. Material Sorting: You will be responsible for accurately sorting various materials based on their properties and destinations, reducing waste and increasing recycling processes.
2. General Cleaning Duties: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the work environment, ensuring a safe workplace and enhancing operational efficiency.
3. Operating Machinery: Operate machinery such as a Bobcat, handling materials safely around the facility.
4. Performing Minor Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance checks and perform minor repairs on machines to ensure they are at peak operational performance, minimizing downtime and maintaining continuous productivity.

• You should be physically capable of performing tasks and flexible enough to take on various duties.
• You must be reliable and punctual, with a technical background being a significant plus but not mandatory.

• A gross hourly wage between €13-15, depending on experience.
