The Role

We are seeking an Analyst intern, Corporate Treasury for our office in The Hague, The Netherlands. As an Analyst Intern, Corporate Treasury, you will be integrated into the treasury organization, working alongside experienced treasury finance professionals. This role combines theoretical knowledge with practical experience, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic department striving for excellence in financial management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop accurate and robust financial analytics to inform business decisions.
  • Create internal and external reports, presentations, and other communication materials that effectively convey financial insights.
  • Assist in monitoring financing arrangements, covenants, cash flows, financial risks, and valuation throughout the asset and financing life cycle.
  • Support the team in day-to-day operations, projects, data management, and stakeholder engagement.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program (e.g., accounting, finance, economics, business administration).
  • Desirable first work experience in corporate treasury or a bank.
  • Strong analytical skills, understanding of general accounting, legal, tax, and finance aspects, and ability to learn quickly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling, and in Microsoft Power Point and Word for presentation and communication.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • A systematic approach to solve complex problems and solution-oriented thinking with high attention to detail.
  • A high degree of self-motivation, ambition, and hard work, with the ability to engage with people and work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced international environment.
