Technical Work Planner Offshore Wind Specialist

Job DescriptionWe're looking for a skilled Technical Work Planner to play a crucial role in our Offshore Wind department in IJmuiden. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for planning and coordinating technical work to ensure safe and efficient execution of maintenance tasks. Your expertise will directly contribute to our mission of a fossil-free future.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and managing operational plans for the long, medium, and short term;
- Drafting and reviewing work permits;
- Preparing work packages for technicians with all necessary information;
- Maintaining a visual planning board with daily weather and production tracking;
- Effectively managing and communicating with ships for smooth interaction;
- Strategically bundling work to reduce productivity loss;
- Conducting resource management to support the site, including demand forecasting;
- Suggesting smart ways to balance manpower and tasks;
- Modeling and identifying planning risks and opportunities;
- Providing input into our production forecasting system;
- Collecting, reviewing, and uploading reports from contractors/third parties.
As a Technical Work Planner, you'll work closely with management and maintenance teams to ensure efficient technical planning and execution. Your strong organizational skills, affinity with work permits, and logistical data analysis will be essential in this role.
RequirementsTo be successful in this position, you'll need:
- A completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in fields such as logistics, supply chain management, engineering, business administration, maritime studies, or similar disciplines;
- An intrinsic interest and affinity with technology, maritime affairs, wind energy, and/or energy transition;
- Strong organizational skills, communication skills, and proactive approach;
- Excellent written and oral proficiency in Dutch and English.
