QualificationsWe are looking for a candidate with a strong background in (Public) Economics, Econometrics, or Statistics, and a keen interest in Housing. The ideal candidate is ambitious, highly motivated, and wishes to make a career in research. They should have a thorough training in research skills, speak and write English fluently, and have obtained excellent results in the Master phase.
ResponsibilitiesThe PhD candidate will contribute to the development of models for quasi-natural experimental housing policy analysis, integrating segmented markets. They will examine housing choices across segments, modelling households on waiting lists before and after the introduction of a new allocation mechanism, new construction, and policies linked to levelling up with housing.
Conditions of EmploymentWe offer a temporary full-time appointment for a period of four years, under the condition of a positive assessment at the end of the first year. The salary will be € 2,770 per month, increasing yearly to a maximum of € 3,539 gross per month. Additionally, we offer an 8% holiday allowance and an 8.3% end of year bonus.
