About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at DAF. This is a unique opportunity to work on a state-of-the-art systems landscape for Asset Management & Used Trucks Remarketing. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for discussing data requirements with BI developers, extending and maintaining ETL processes, data modeling, and validating data consistency in the Data Warehouse.
Your Responsibilities
- Discuss data requirements with BI developers to ensure accurate information reporting and dashboard development.
- Extend and maintain ETL processes to retrieve data from multiple sources using Wherescape 3D and RED.
- Data modeling of business entities in the Data Vault and Data Mart using Wherescape 3D and RED.
- Validate and maintain data consistency in the Data Warehouse.
- Analyze and solve problems related to ETL processes and data modeling.
- Participate in the DWH Scrum Team and support Agile Way of Working.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need a completed IT-technical education at a bachelor or master's level. You should have a passion for information and a strong affinity with IT applications and business processes. Experience in a financial working environment is preferred, as well as knowledge of Data Vault and dimensional modeling.
About Our Team
Our team at PACCAR Financial Europe (PFE) provides financial services to DAF dealers and end customers. We are responsible for the development, configuration, testing, and deployment of innovative IT solutions. Our team consists of approximately 30 full-time employees, working according to the Agile framework.
