We are seeking a talented Senior Exterior Engineer to join our team at WFS PRO BV, a leading name in luxury yacht construction. With over 170 years of experience, we strive for perfection in craftsmanship, design, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of exterior designs and engineering for yachts, ensuring seamless integration with interior components.
  • Collaborate with designers, suppliers, and other engineers to create high-quality designs that meet client expectations.
  • Develop deck and ceiling arrangements, teakwood, and railings, as well as local arrangements such as exterior furniture, stairs, pillars, masts, and sun awnings.

You will work closely with our experienced team to deliver projects of the highest quality. A background in yacht building is essential, with experience on projects over 30 meters in length preferred.

Requirements:
  • MBO/HBO level of education.
  • Proficiency in software programs like NX and Solid Edge/SolidWorks.
  • Familiarity with important regulations such as LROS, REG YC A/B, and SOLAS.
  • Excellent mechanical engineering drawing skills, including proficiency in creating assemblies and individual components.
  • Knowledge of high-quality materials and finishing standards.
  • Ability to estimate hours and create task lists for reporting status and progress.
  • Capability to estimate weights and assess manufacturability of engineered components.
