Job Title: Senior Design Engineer Digital Electronics

Cross Border Talents is seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Engineer Digital Electronics to join their team in the Netherlands.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital electronics and experience in designing complex analog circuits. As a Senior Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing digital circuits in collaboration with other disciplines such as mechanical and embedded software development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, simulate, implement, and verify digital circuits;
  • Collaborate with engineers from our customers in the field of digital electronics;
  • Create designs that meet requirements for EMC, testability, reliability, and producibility;
  • Specify circuits, document them, and determine which tests are needed;
  • Make estimates for planning and communicate about technical progress to the project manager;
  • Manage junior engineers in their daily work.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics;
  • More than 10 years of experience as a designer in the development of digital circuits within product development;
  • Quality-driven, takes initiative, and strives for the best technical solution;
  • Experience in using tools for designing digital circuits, such as simulations with Hyperlinx for high-speed interfaces;
  • Experience in designing circuits with controllers, processors, CPLDs, and FPGAs;
  • Experience with interfaces such as RS485, I2C, SPI, USB, and CAN and Ethernet;
  • Proficient in using measurement equipment;
  • Basic knowledge of software and mechatronics;
  • Good oral and written communication skills for technical product documentation in English.
