We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to join our team at Marel, a world leader in advanced food processing solutions. As an Accounting Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the timely and accurate reporting of our financial performance.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business Economics and/or Business Administration, as well as a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a project-driven company. You will be responsible for performing month-end close activities, preparing and adjusting finance journal entries, and reconciling monthly general ledger accounts.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Secure timely and accurate reporting of our financial performance
  • Perform month-end close activities in line with IFRS and Marel accounting guidelines
  • Prepare and adjust finance journal entries, including accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and interdepartmental entries
  • Reconcile monthly general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
