About this Internship
TNO, a leading research organization in the Netherlands, is seeking a highly motivated research intern to contribute to a project investigating the impact of physically demanding work on work transitions and drop-out among the Dutch workforce. The project aims to provide valuable insights into the highly timely question of how physically demanding work affects work transitions and drop-out in the Dutch workforce.
What will be your role?
In this internship, you will work closely with our team of experts to assess the role of physical work demands, including heavy lifting, awkward body postures, or body vibrations, and work transitions using longitudinal data from the STREAM and CODI cohorts. Your task will be to analyze the data and contribute to the writing of a scientific journal article. This project will be performed in collaboration between Amsterdam UMC and TNO Leiden, providing you with the opportunity to explore the work environment in both institutes.
What we expect from you
We are looking for a highly motivated and team-oriented individual with a strong academic background in health sciences. You should have excellent command of English at an academic level and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Additionally, you should be able to spend a negotiable part of the internship at TNO in Leiden.
