About the Role:


The Manager Finance is a key position within FonQ, responsible for leading the Accounting department with 5 FTEs. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the financial administration, annual accounts, cash management, taxes, administrative organization, insurance, and compliance.



Responsibilities:



  • Oversee the entire financial administration, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Responsible for the monthly and annual closing, ensuring complete and accurate delivery.
  • Monitor financial processes and take action when necessary, maintaining a sharp overview.
  • Analyze and optimize work processes and procedures, ensuring the proper application of AO/IC.
  • Lead organization-wide improvement projects to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide advice to management on business, financial, and fiscal matters.
  • Identify trends and developments in the field and anticipate them when necessary.
  • Member of the Leadership Team, reporting to the CFO.


Requirements:



  • At least 5 years of work experience and leadership experience within accountancy in compilation or audit practice; or in a Finance Management function.
  • AA or RA training.
  • Experience in further professionalizing financial administration; transitioning to a new ERP; and integrating 2 companies.
  • Proficiency in period closings and preparation of annual accounts.
  • Knowledge and experience with working capital management and cash management.
  • Strong eye for compliance.
  • Hands-on mentality in a leadership role, with the ability to support the team operationally.
  • Analytically strong, quality-oriented, and a get-things-done mentality.
  • A healthy dose of passion and ambition, with a willingness to go the extra mile.
  • Team player with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Good command of Dutch and English.
