About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Controller to join our Central Advice and Planning team. As a Business Controller, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and advice to senior management, with a focus on Balance Sheet Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Analysis and Advice
- Provide high-quality financial result presentations, analyses, and advice to relevant stakeholders.
- Develop relationships with business partners and act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic analysis on balance sheet and risk-related developments.
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Be involved in the overall budgeting and forecasting process, providing accurate forward-looking financial plans on liquidity and RWA's.
- Play a strong role in challenging and aligning with business controllers and stakeholders on forecasted and actual financial developments.
- Process Improvement
- Proactively look for ways to improve processes, forecasting, and actual reporting.
Requirements
- Financial Master degree
- 5+ years experience in Treasury, Market Risk Management, Balance Sheet Management, or Fund Transfer Pricing/Replicating Portfolios
- Experience in a financial advice position within a bank is preferred
- A sincere interest in banking and a curious attitude in market developments
- Experience in translating complex data into sound advice
- Experience in giving independent strategic advice to senior management
- Understanding of Balance Sheet dynamics of financial institutions
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
