About the Role

Abacus Medicine is seeking a skilled Packaging Designer to join our Regulatory and Product Development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating packaging materials for medicines in collaboration with colleagues working on marketing authorizations for parallel import in the EU.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Regulatory Officers to develop necessary documents for parallel import licensing and re-packaging activities;
  • Create packaging materials, including labels, cartons, patient information leaflets, and other materials;
  • Maintain accurate data and files of packaging materials;
  • Develop repackaging instructions for production;
  • Create bills of materials for re-packaging medicines;
  • Prepare photo documentation for re-packaged samples of medicine for licensing purposes;
  • Manage tasks in the department's task management tool;
  • Utilize Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop for design and creation;
  • Collaborate with printing houses, technical groups, and production areas.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar or relevant role;
  • Experience in packaging creation;
  • Preferably experience with printing houses;
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop;
  • Higher education degree;
  • Fluent in English, with intermediate level written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong organizational skills.
