Job Summary

IC Resources is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal IC Verification Engineer to join our team. As a Principal IC Verification Engineer, you will be responsible for leading ASIC/FPGA verification duties and developing the UVM environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead ASIC/FPGA verification duties, including developing and implementing verification plans and strategies
  • Develop and maintain the UVM environment, ensuring it is up-to-date and aligned with industry best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, validation, and software engineering, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of complex processor designs
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and methodologies, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in verification practices

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience in digital or AMS verification, with a strong background in ASIC/FPGA design and verification
  • Proficiency in VHDL/SystemVerilog, RTL design, and coding
  • Experience with UVM, Tcl, and Python or similar scripting languages
  • Strong understanding of verification methodologies, including coverage-driven verification and constrained-random verification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience setting up or developing a UVM environment
  • Experience with embedded software, DevOps, software automation, and CI/CD
  • Knowledge of other verification packages, such as OVM, OSVVM, and Cocotb
  • Formal verification experience
