Application Specialist for Engineering Solutions

Your Role:

As an Application Manager, you will play a crucial role in the IT Engineering Solutions department at Royal IHC. Your primary focus will be on Solid Edge, a 3D Mechanical CAD tool that is integral to our global Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) environment. You will be part of a dynamic multinational team, working on innovative projects and assisting in resolving incidents as they occur.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and enhance the functionality of the Solid Edge application.
  • Engage in regular collaboration with colleagues from both engineering and IT sectors.
  • Contribute to the development of the Solid Edge application using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Provide assistance and guidance in handling application-related issues.

Your Qualifications:

To qualify for the position of Application Manager, you should possess:

  • A degree in Engineering, IT, or a related discipline.
  • A strong desire to learn about Solid Edge, with prior exposure to PLM, ERP, or manufacturing being advantageous.
  • Basic knowledge of ITIL and Scrum methodologies; a genuine interest in these areas is also appreciated.
  • Proficient communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • A customer-oriented mindset with foundational experience in application environments.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, creativity, and adaptability.
  • The ability to work at the Kinderdijk office for a minimum of two days each week.
