Production Optimization Specialist

About the Role:

We're seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at our manufacturing site in Zaltbommel. As a key member of our production team, you'll play a critical role in driving our production excellence, supporting our commitment to quality, and helping bring our advanced 3D printing products to life.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Lead and support engineering projects aimed at expanding manufacturing capabilities, such as implementing new equipment or process changes.
• Develop and implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Provide on-the-floor engineering support, including troubleshooting equipment and process issues.
• Analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
• Partner with the Quality team to establish and monitor product quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with industry and company standards for documentation and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably in high-tech or electronics manufacturing.
• Proven experience in implementing lean manufacturing and continuous improvement processes.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing equipment and tooling.
• Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab) for performance tracking and process optimization.

About UltiMaker:

UltiMaker offers a competitive salary range of €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience.
