Job Title: Business Support Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Support Specialist to join our team at Fugro. As a Business Support Specialist, you will provide essential functional support to our team, empowering end-users to maximize the effectiveness of our ERP system.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide functional support and training in Fugro's ERP system, responding to user incidents and questions, troubleshooting issues, and providing timely resolutions and answers;
  • Assist users in navigating the software, diagnosing and resolving functional issues, and answering questions that could not be answered in Level 1 support;
  • Accurately document user interactions, reported problems, and resolutions in a ticketing system or knowledge base;
  • Liaise with developers, system administrators, and BPE's to escalate complex issues, coordinate bug fixes, and communicate updates to end-users;
  • Continuously identify opportunities to enhance the user support process and develop self-service resources such as FAQs, user guides, and video tutorials to empower users to solve basic issues independently;
  • Keep updated with the latest software updates to ensure optimal support delivery and suggest improvements;
  • Assist in identifying main risks and propose mitigations in the ERP system where possible.

Your Qualifications

  • At least a Secondary Vocational Education degree with experience in financial or project accounting;
  • A passion for Functional User Support;
  • A background within an international project-oriented environment;
  • Certifications such as ITIL or HDI Support Center Analyst (a plus);
  • Service-minded and great communication and stakeholder management skills;
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and oral.
