Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Automation QA Manager to lead our team in Amsterdam, Netherlands. As an Automation QA Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing automation testing efforts, ensuring software product quality, and driving automation testing best practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs, develop and execute automation testing strategies, and provide technical leadership to the QA team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute automation testing strategies using TestComplete
- Lead the automation testing efforts, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of testing projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs
- Develop and maintain automation testing frameworks, scripts, and tools
- Provide technical leadership to the QA team, mentoring and guiding team members on automation testing best practices
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Analyze and report on testing results, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions
- Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve defects
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying knowledge to improve automation testing processes
Requirements:
- Years of experience in automation testing, with a focus on TestComplete
- Strong knowledge of automation testing frameworks, tools, and methodologies
- Experience with functional testing, including test planning, test case development, and test execution
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with experience leading a team of QA engineers
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in Dutch language
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms and tools
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools
- Certification in automation testing or a related field
