Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and commissioning our packaging machines at customer sites worldwide. You will also perform preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as provide training to local operators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, test, and commission packaging machines at customer sites worldwide
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on packaging machines
  • Provide training to local operators on the use and maintenance of packaging machines
  • Work closely with customers to ensure their packaging needs are met

Requirements

  • Diploma/Trade qualification in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics engineering
  • At least 6 years of experience working as a technician in fine machining, preferably in the packaging/food production industries
  • Knowledge of PLC programming technology
  • Good command of both Dutch and English languages
  • Ability to speak Afrikaans will be an advantage
  • VCA diploma or willingness to obtain one
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in assembly, testing, and commissioning machinery (maintenance)
  • Experience within the food production/packaging industry will be an advantage
