Quality Assurance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to oversee and enhance the quality of repairs at our external third-party repair locations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all bikes meet our high standards and driving continuous improvements in our repair processes.
Key Responsibilities- Quality Audits: Conduct official quality audits at external third-party repair warehouses to ensure compliance with our quality standards.
- Repair Inspection: Examine repaired bikes to ensure they meet our quality standards, measuring dimensions, and ensuring full functionality.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure that all third-party repair locations are adhering to our repair work instructions and quality protocols.
- Training and Assessment: Train and assess the skills of local third-party repair teams to ensure consistency in quality and performance.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively monitor the quality performance of third-party repair locations, identifying areas for improvement, and providing solutions to enhance both quality and efficiency.
- Daily Site Visits: Regularly visit third-party repair locations to sample-check repaired bikes and ensure consistent quality standards across all sites.
- Quality Meetings: Organize and lead weekly quality meetings with third-party repair teams, presenting progress reports and identifying focus areas for improvement.
- Quality Mindset: Lead by example, fostering a culture where quality is embedded as a habit across all Swapfiets operations.
- Process Enhancements: Work closely with Swapfiets HQ and internal warehouses to drive continuous improvement in repair processes and overall quality.
- 3-5 years of relevant working experience in quality control, repair management, or similar roles.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance and control processes.
- Fluency in Dutch and a good command of English.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire a team and implement change.
- Basic mathematical skills for data-driven quality audits and assessments.
- Proficient in using computer systems and software to generate reports and monitor performance.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills to effectively train, guide, and work with external and internal teams.
- A passion for bicycles, an eye for detail, and commitment to ensuring the highest level of repair quality.
