The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tender Engineer Asset and Maintenance Management to join our Proposals Department. As a key member of our multidisciplinary tender team, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and contract designing the Integrated Asset and Maintenance Support plan for our deal-winning tender packages related to the build of state-of-the-art naval vessels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive Integrated Asset and Maintenance Support tender packages, including technical documents, Integrated Logistics Support specifications, and contract specifications.
  • Contribute to requirements analysis, ensuring all necessary specifications are drafted and understood by internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support quotation processes and evaluations within the tender team and towards suppliers for purposes of preliminary supplier selection, budget allocation, and cost estimation.
  • Participate in discussions with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders on the technical and commercial aspects of proposed Asset and Maintenance Support solutions.
  • Support the evaluation of costs provided by external and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and service departments to optimize project outcomes.
Requirements
  • At least one year of experience in writing deal-winning tender packages, preferably for complex manufacturing, maintenance, or shipbuilding tenders.
  • Excellent writing skills, able to deliver compelling text, figures, and calculations encompassing specific technical details and specifications.
  • A commercial mindset to deliver viable yet attractive financial forecasts and propositions.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Asset and Maintenance Management, Technical and Logistics Services, or Asset Life Cycle Support.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal, and preferably also Dutch command.
  • Willingness to travel abroad occasionally.
  • Excellent references and antecedents, as a pre-employment security screening is standard part of the recruitment procedure.
