Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical direction of Java-based projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices
- Design, develop, and implement scalable, efficient, and reliable Java-based solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
- Mentor and guide junior team members to improve their technical skills and knowledge
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing technical expertise and guidance to the team
- Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve project delivery and team performance
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in Java development, with a strong background in software design, development, and deployment
- Proven experience as a technical lead or team lead, with a track record of delivering high-quality software solutions
- Strong knowledge of Java 8 or later, including Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and Java EE
- Experience with Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex technical issues and develop effective solutions
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior team members
- Fluency in Dutch and English (written and spoken)
