Job Description

We're looking for a skilled Reliability Engineer to facilitate the development of facility and equipment reliability strategies. As a key member of our LHC Reliability Team in Terneuzen, Netherlands, you will be responsible for solving reliability and availability losses through the application of reliability technology and tools. Your primary focus will be on identifying opportunities that impact the plant's measured asset capability and high-risk areas identified in risk assessments, reliability models, and evaluations.

You will create, update, and improve Equipment Reliability Strategies based on the Top Opportunity List, Critical Equipment List, and identified plant/business needs. You will also evaluate the effectiveness of individual aspects of the Predictive Maintenance Program (PPM) by quantitatively showing the impact of failures and PPM. Additionally, you will facilitate and contribute to driving proactive PPM Optimization activities to support overall productivity improvements and minimize long-term costs.

Responsibilities

- Develops and implements Equipment Reliability Strategies to optimize plant performance and reduce downtime
- Evaluates the effectiveness of Predictive Maintenance Program (PPM) activities and identifies areas for improvement
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive proactive PPM Optimization activities and minimize long-term costs
- Identifies and resolves Top Reliability Opportunities to decrease equipment failure losses and meet site Product Supply Reliability improvement goals
- Assists in spare part optimization and critical spare part identification
- Performs Root Cause Investigations for unplanned events to prevent recurrence
- Applies reliability engineering principles and tools to increase asset capability and mechanical reliability
- Participates in Reliability Networks for experience exchange and collaboration
- Provides front-end loading support for plant Turnarounds
- Assists maintenance representatives and project teams to design reliability, availability, and maintainability into new plants and equipment systems using GPM work process discipline

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
- Fresh graduate or up to two years of working experience
- Fluent in English, fluency in Dutch is a plus
