Regional Payroll Efficiency Expert

Vanderlande is a leading company in logistics process automation, and we're looking for an experienced Regional Payroll Efficiency Expert to join our team. As a key member of the EMEA Accounting team, you will be responsible for timely and accurate payroll processing for 14 countries, servicing approximately 3,600 employees each month.

The Payroll team in EMEA is responsible for global payroll processing for over 35 countries, servicing around 8,000 employees. In this role, you will work closely with other financial functions and have a strong relationship and intense interface with HR.

You will report to the Finance Manager FSSC EMEA, with a dotted line to the (global) Payroll Capability Owner. You will work together in a project team on improvement projects and initiatives with a local, regional, or global scope.

Key Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in international payroll processing
  • Bachelor degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent level of work experience
  • Fiscal knowledge and understanding of labor laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyze complex data

This position offers a competitive salary range of €4,000 to €5,500 gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
