About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Crypto Dev Engineer to join our team at ING. As a key member of our Crypto team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and delivering high-quality software solutions for our cryptographic services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop secure cryptographic solutions using Java 17+ and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvement.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional Java experience with a strong focus on security and cryptography.
  • Proficiency in Java 17+, Git, and Maven.
  • Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA/JDBC.
  • Knowledge of unit and integration testing, as well as continuous integration and delivery.
  • Good understanding of relational databases and experience with handling certificates and certificate tooling.
  • Affinity with PKI and IT security, with a willingness to work in a highly regulated environment.
  • Proficient in English, with fluency in English.
  • Alignment with our Orange Code in terms of behavior.
