Job Title: Software Competence Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Competence Manager to join our team at Benchmark. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing the Software Competence and Platform Roadmap, aligning with our customers' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the Software Competence and Platform Roadmap.
- Lead and manage a team of software engineers, allocating resources for projects in alignment with account leaders and project managers.
- Build and maintain a strong network in and outside Benchmark.
- Responsible for talent acquisition of competent professionals.
- Owner of the costs within your group and co-responsible for the profit and loss of the business.
- Leverage and develop the skills of the professionals in your team, creating and coaching self-organized teams with complementary skills.
- Accountable for coaching, guiding, and keeping the competencies of technically skilled personnel up-to-date.
- Accountable for defining and initiating technology and process improvement, and responsible for the associated budgets.
Requirements:
- Completed higher education in the field of Software or related.
- Over 10 years of work experience in the field of Embedded Software.
- Strategic thinker with a forward-looking vision in the field of Embedded Software.
- An entrepreneurial, decisive, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
