Procurement Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Undutchables. This role involves developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and negotiating contracts.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A proven track record in procurement, with experience in supplier relationship management and contract negotiation.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A deep understanding of market trends and the ability to analyze data to inform procurement decisions.
  • Proficiency in English, with additional European languages a plus.

Duties:

  • Procurement Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to drive business growth.
  • Sales Collaboration: Work closely with sales teams to understand customer needs and develop targeted procurement strategies.
  • Logistics Integration: Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize supply chain operations and reduce costs.
  • Seller Interaction: Interact with sellers to determine product specifications, pricing, and delivery schedules.
  • Warehouse Management: Manage inventory levels, monitor stock movement, and control shipping activities.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Senior Buyer or in a similar procurement role (FMCG experience a plus).
  • Negotiation and Communication Skills: Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Relationship Management: Ability to manage complex supplier relationships and key accounts.
  • Market Analysis and Procurement Strategies: Proficiency in market analysis and procurement strategies.
  • Organizational and Project Management Skills: Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Teamwork and Independence: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel as required to meet with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in English; additional European languages a plus.

Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
