About the Role

We're seeking a talented Business Analyst to join our team at Picnic, Europe's fastest-growing online supermarket. As a Business Analyst, you'll play a key role in driving innovation and shaping the future of grocery shopping.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data-driven solutions to optimize online assortment ranking and identify new commercial opportunities
  • Design and operate algorithms to spot damaged products before they leave the warehouse
  • Build forecasting models to predict customer demand based on seasonality, area, and trends
  • Improve planning and routing algorithms in our supply-chain systems
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Econometrics, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent quantitative field
  • 0-3 years of experience in a fast-paced environment, start-up, scale-up, or business consulting
  • Excellent communication skills to explain complex analytical concepts simply
  • Ability to convert abstract plans into digestible information for the team
  • Sharp business sense and conceptual thinking to come up with innovative ideas
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python, with a willingness to learn
  • EU citizenship or valid visa to work in the EU
  • Proficiency in English and German
