The Role: Engineer Marine Piping Systems

We are seeking an experienced Engineer Marine Piping Systems to join our team in Vlissingen. This pivotal role will play a key part in the design and engineering of advanced piping systems for high-end naval vessels. You will be responsible for analysing specifications, setting up and modelling engineering packages, and ensuring the integration of piping systems meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Your expertise will be crucial in supporting the successful completion of complex maritime projects. As an Engineer Marine Piping Systems, you will work closely with various disciplines to ensure that piping solutions are optimized for the overall project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyse and assess specifications to ensure integration aligns with project needs, regulatory standards, and quality benchmarks
  • Develop detailed engineering packages and production information based on the basic design, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to update engineering packages as needed, providing technical advice and support
  • Engage with various disciplines to optimize piping solutions for the overall project
  • Contribute to design reviews to ensure project success and identify potential issues
Requirements:
  • A relevant technical Bachelor or Master degree combined with at least three years of experience in piping systems engineering, ideally gained within shipbuilding or offshore installations
  • Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software, with hands-on experience in modelling and designing complex piping systems
  • Experience working on high-end vessels, managing complex projects, and ensuring compliance with statutory bodies and regulations
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal
  • Good references and antecedents, with a pre-employment security screening as standard part of the recruitment procedure

Estimated Salary:

Based on industry standards and considering the required skills and qualifications, the estimated salary for this position ranges from €80,000 to €120,000 per year, depending on experience.
