About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Business Developer to join our Financial Risk team at ABN AMRO Bank. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing processes and data flows to enable the calculation of credit risk and streamline reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement functional solutions to ensure a correct and controlled Basel process
  • Work closely with stakeholders from Finance, Risk, Business, and Operational Risk Management to define requirements and execute controls
  • Perform data analysis and initiate improvement proposals to enhance process efficiency
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of processes and procedures

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a related field, such as finance, economics, or mathematics
  • At least 5 years of experience in a related field, with expertise in credit risk, banking products, financial institutions, and risk management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven experience in process management, data analysis, or functional IT design
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements, Basel regulations, prudential reporting, and RWA calculation is highly desirable
