At MOXY Utrecht, we’re seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of simple dishes to our guests.



Key Responsibilities


  • Prepare and cook a range of dishes, including sandwiches, salads, breakfast items, and snacks, to the highest standards of quality and presentation.


  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.


  • Assist in preparing and serving drinks at the bar, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages.


  • Provide excellent customer service, engaging with guests and fulfilling their requests in a friendly and efficient manner.


  • Monitor inventory levels for both kitchen and bar supplies, minimizing waste and optimizing stock levels.


  • Offer recommendations and answer questions about menu items and beverages, showcasing your knowledge and expertise.


  • Support colleagues in both kitchen and bar areas, working collaboratively to ensure seamless service delivery.




Requirements


  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not essential.


  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities with ease.


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and welcoming demeanor.


  • Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations effectively, remaining calm and composed under pressure.


  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, able to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.


  • Interest in cooking and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
