Product Design Engineer

As a Product Design Engineer, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for the development and continuous improvement of our products throughout their entire lifecycle.
Our company, ATS Automation, develops, manufactures, and sells innovative products for the (radio)pharmaceutical industry and hospitals with nuclear medicine. We are a part of the ATS Corporation and operate within a complex laboratory environment with connections to various software applications and other products.
As a Product Design Engineer, you will work on the development of complete end products and subsystems that are used in a complex laboratory environment. You will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of our products, as well as the creation of technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research to identify opportunities for product improvement
- Develop and implement new product designs and features
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product development meets business requirements
- Design and develop electrical and mechanical systems
- Develop and maintain technical documentation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Precision Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming languages such as TwinCat and Beckhoff
- Experience with electrical circuit design and development
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and writing skills in Dutch and English
