Senior Plant Inspector Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Plant Inspector to join our Shell team in the Netherlands. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading inspections and ensuring compliance with Dutch Legislation, Design Codes, and Shell standards.
About the Role
- Lead inspections and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain inspection management systems.
- SUPervise the development of inspection tools and databases.
- Train and develop next generation inspectors.
- Establish continuous improvements in technical services.
- Liaise with EU-CBI and NL-CBI (IVG toezichthouder).
- Support mitigations and authorize deviations from standards/processes.
- Accountable for AW routing in w-IMS.
- Roll out standardization within the department.
- Lead multi-discipline problem-solving teams and investigations.
Key Requirements
- Must speak Dutch fluently.
- Significant experience in business processes combined with substantial experience in inspection of pressure systems in hydrocarbon production/refining industries.
- Extensive relevant experience in Data management systems.
- Bachelor's Degree in Technical Engineering or related field supplemented with relevant Engineering qualifications.
- Certified SKK3 "Inspectie Deskundige level III" (IKT3) or equivalent according to legal requirements.
- A sound knowledge of applicable national and international codes, rules, and standards.
- Experienced with installation, maintenance, and repair of static equipment.
- Team player with credibility in technical expertise, influencing skills, and site expert.
Salary Information
The estimated salary for this position is €70,000 - €90,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
