Job Title: Manager and Assistant Manager (Marketing and Branding)

The Communications and Public Affairs Office (CPAO) of the Registry of the University of Hong Kong (HKU) is seeking a talented individual to join its team as a Manager and Assistant Manager (Marketing and Branding). The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing HKU's reputation through branding, events, digital communications, media relations, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to strengthen the University's brand and visibility;
  • Plan, implement, and monitor promotional campaigns, evaluating their effectiveness and making ongoing improvements;
  • Lead content development projects for multiple channels, including digital platforms and printed communication collaterals, in line with brand direction;
  • Plan and coordinate project schedules, manage procurement processes to commission third-party service providers for various University initiatives;
  • Analyse market trends, competitors, and campaign effectiveness to provide insights on new and effective promotional strategies;
  • Serve as an internal brand custodian for brand or sub-brand applications in various contexts.
Requirements:
  • A good University degree in marketing, communications, or a relevant discipline;
  • At least eight years' experience in brand-building, events, or digital marketing, corporate communications for consideration of appointment as Manager; at least five years' experience in brand-building, events, or digital marketing, corporate communications for consideration of appointment as Assistant Manager;
  • An excellent command of English and Chinese;
  • A good command of PC applications, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
  • Strong analytical skills to drive marketing results, transforming data into actionable insights and recommendations;
  • The ability to manage fast-moving projects and collaborate with internal and external cross-functional teams in a complex environment;
  • A willingness to work outside regular work hours and on duty roster.
Compensation and Benefits:

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
