As part of our Global Specialized Nutrition organization, we are seeking an experienced Senior Food Safety Manager to join our team.

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated professional to lead our food safety efforts in innovation development. The successful candidate will have +10 years of experience in complex, cross-functional, multinational environments working in food safety and innovations. This role will be responsible for ensuring early food safety risk anticipation and management in new growth explorations, innovations, and new product development to enable business growth. Some key responsibilities include:
  • Defining and deploying early FS risk anticipation & management strategy for innovation projects.
  • Ensuring strong partnership with QFS in Design, FS@D Scientific leaders, and Research & Innovation teams.
  • Driving the implementation of corporate FS requirements into SN's operational business reality.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent communication skills, ability to connect and influence at all levels, and can easily build effective working relationships. A proactive attitude, prioritization skills, and a strong eye for detail are essential. Additionally, you should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in food science, food quality, or related fields. Your expertise in food safety within the food industry will provide Danone with credibility. Knowledge of key technologies used in food processing and their related FS risks and mitigations is also required. Other qualifications include good understanding of FS and Quality management systems, good level of knowledge in food science and food regulation, and business acumen and value creation.
