At Thermo Fisher Scientific, we are passionate about developing innovative High-End Transmission Electron Microscopes (TEMs) in Eindhoven. As a key player in the Operations Engineering team, you will focus on ensuring the quality and performance of TEM cameras and detectors.

The ideal candidate for this role has a strong technical background, preferably in physics or electronics, and is eager to take on new challenges with a practical and proactive approach. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will work closely with multiple departments and suppliers worldwide.

In this position, you will contribute to the development of new features and improvements in manufacturing processes. You will also participate in supplier audits, analyze parts for reliability and manufacturability, and provide training to colleagues. Salary and Benefits

  • We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 per year, including a 13th month payment, holiday allowance, and annual incentive bonus.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or university degree in a technical area (Physics, Electronics, Mechatronics).
  • Confirmed experience in a high-tech industry, preferably in a manufacturing engineering environment. Knowledge and/or experience with electron microscopy is highly valued.
  • Excellent communication and social skills are essential.
  • You should be a collaborative team player with a hands-on and can-do mentality.
  • Excellent English language skills (verbal and written); Dutch is a significant plus.
