Position Overview

This role requires fluency in Dutch, both written and spoken.

As a Front-end Developer, you will leverage your expertise to assist our clients and colleagues, engaging in intricate and stimulating projects. Your work will involve utilizing technologies such as React and Vue, placing you within an organization that values technical excellence: offering freedom, autonomy, accountability, and a healthy work-life balance, alongside substantial training budgets and ample opportunities to innovate and tackle unique challenges.

Role Responsibilities

You will be part of one of our five development teams, which includes a team lead, backend developers, frontend developers, a UX designer, and a solution support engineer. Together, your team will continuously seek optimal solutions for our esteemed clients while exploring new technologies.

As a Front-end Developer, you will contribute to strategic solutions, understanding the significance of assembling a diverse stack of tools and software that aligns with client ambitions. Your focus will be on delivering an exceptional user experience and interaction. You will proactively identify tasks, motivate your colleagues, and pursue the best possible outcomes.

One of your key challenges will be collaborating with experienced team members to formulate a strategy for transitioning from a monolithic architecture to a composable digital platform for select clients. You will play a pivotal role in the implementation process, taking charge of front-end development.

You will also inspire and motivate your peers, initiating knowledge-sharing activities within Iquality, such as organizing hackathons and deep dive sessions. In essence, we provide you with the opportunity to excel personally and help others do the same.

From the outset, you will be integrated into one of our self-managing multidisciplinary teams, which combine strategy, concept, design, development, and support. These teams consist of software and front-end developers, designers, testers, and other specialists. We take collective responsibility for the entire Solution Lifecycle of software, applications, or websites. Alongside your team and the client, you will tackle the challenge of enhancing the value of our clients' digital products through short sprints. Key principles include quality, innovation, and sustainability, with notable projects for clients such as Freo, Vitens, Athlon, and Damen Shipyards.

Candidate Profile

You:

  • Possess a minimum of four years of professional experience with one or more of the following skills:
  • Agile/Scrum; Git/Gitflow; HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; Frameworks such as ReactJS (Native) and/or VueJS.
  • Exhibit professional and intellectual capabilities at HBO/WO level.
  • Communicate effectively, able to articulate your ideas and persuade others of your solutions, whether working independently or collaboratively within the scrum team.
  • Demonstrate a customer-oriented mindset and a pragmatic approach.
