About the Role

The Controlling department of MediaMarkt Benelux is seeking a seasoned Financial Controller to lead one of our teams. As FP&A Manager, you will be responsible for providing insights into the financial performance and position of MediaMarkt Benelux. You will monitor and analyze short and long-term developments regarding the organization's objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the month-end close cycle by analyzing and reporting on the monthly results;
  • Ensure a strong administrative organization and internal control around the daily/week/monthly processes within the department;
  • Monthly forecast process around any financial changes in the month that affect the results of current and coming months;
  • Comply with the various reports from the head office in Germany;
  • Analyze the results and discuss it with the Head of Controlling and senior leadership;
  • Participate in ad-hoc and process optimization projects.

Requirements

  • You're both a specialist and people manager with a strong background in retail, wholesale, or logistics;
  • You're an analytically excellent professional with a good dose of ownership;
  • You have a strong vision of your field, but are open to new ideas and insights;
  • You can handle deadlines and a quick pace of working;
  • You're accurate, entrepreneurial, and have an excellent command of English (verbally and in writing).
