About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transition Management Consultant to join our team at ING. As a key member of our Centre of Excellence (CoE) Sourcing and Shared Services, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our sourcing strategies are executed effectively and efficiently.

In this role, you will be responsible for guiding various Business Lines within ING Bank NV and local entities across the globe to achieve their sourcing goals in line with our Strategy to give our Customers a superior experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define effective and efficient sourcing roadmaps in collaboration with stakeholders, including Service Owners and local transition managers.
  • Work closely with a group of local transition managers and Business Line specialists in the ING HUBs to implement sourcing projects in accordance with ING's Sourcing Framework.
  • Maintain oversight during migrations and ensure that the Life Cycle Management of sourced services is in line with internal and external policies and regulations.
  • Monitor compliance with ING's Sourcing Framework and report any deviations to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Signal sourcing possibilities within Business Lines and make stakeholders aware of the benefits of sourcing.
  • Steer local Transition Managers in ING HUBs to operationally support sourcing transitions and maintain an overview of ongoing and upcoming sourcing initiatives.
  • Align with the Contracting & Service Management team in HUB Manila to ensure correct setup of contracting models.
  • Translate ING's Sourcing Framework into practice and ensure that stakeholders adhere to it.
Requirements
  • Master degree with 3-5 years of generic banking experience, preferably in the area of sourcing/offshoring and/or procurement/contracting management.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to supervise and steer people to achieve results within given timeframes.
  • Good planning and prioritization skills to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.
  • Fluency in English; understanding of Dutch would be a bonus.
  • Familiarity with global policies and procedures in organizations and ability to provide guidance to stakeholders.
