Your Role

As a Senior SAS Business Developer at ABN AMRO Bank, you will be responsible for conducting data analysis, enhancing and testing functionalities utilizing SAS, and recommending enhancements. Collaborating with your team, you will serve as the authority on data requirements and the execution of CR RWA Calculations. Your success will stem from leveraging your SAS proficiency and fostering collaboration with both business and IT professionals, thereby contributing to the ongoing enhancement of Basel compliance.

Working Environment

You will be part of the Finance & Risk Business GRIDs (FRBG), joining the Value Delivery Team Basel, which is tasked with CR RWA Implementation. We are committed to your professional and personal development, offering you the chance to evolve into a comprehensive credit risk implementation expert.

Your Profile

  • Proficient SAS Developer with expertise in Base SAS Programming and SAS Macro Programming.
  • Familiarity with additional SAS software, including SAS Data Integration (SAS DI), SAS Visual Analytics (SAS VA), and SAS Management Console.
  • Knowledge of SAS Regulatory Capital Management and SAS Infrastructure for Risk Management is advantageous.
  • Possess a T-Shaped Professional skill set; capable of analyzing, developing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting programming on assigned applications to meet business needs.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements, Basel regulations, prudential reporting, and/or RWA calculation, as well as IFRS regulation.
  • Ability to merge data and query skills with regulatory knowledge to analyze RWA and reporting implications for specific changes, along with documenting such impact assessments.
  • Exceptional communication skills, particularly in written form (fluency in English is essential).

  • The gross monthly salary is based on a 36-hour work week, inclusive of vacation pay and benefit budget.
  • The Benefit Budget constitutes 11% of your salary, allowing you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you do not utilize the Benefit Shop in a given month, you will receive one twelfth of your Benefit Budget for that month.
  • Five weeks of vacation annually, with the option to purchase an additional four weeks.
  • A Personal Development Budget of €1,000 per year, which can be accumulated up to €3,000.
