Food and Beverage Team Member

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Food and Beverage team at Meininger Hotel Amsterdam Amstel. As a Service Staff member, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Buffet Setup and Removal: You will be responsible for setting up and removing the buffet, ensuring that it is always well-stocked and visually appealing.
- Food and Beverage Management: You will ensure constant availability of sufficient quantity and varied selection of food and beverages to the guests, and prepare simple cold dishes and drinks as required.
- Guest Interaction: You will act as a host welcoming guests to breakfast, informing them about special offers and F&B options, and advising guests on the composition and ingredients of our dishes.
- Cleanliness and Maintenance: You will maintain the cleanliness of your work station in line with prescribed guidelines and company standards, and monitor the stock, place orders of food and consumables, and check deliveries.
- Teamwork and Flexibility: You will work efficiently and in a well-structured way, and be flexible to work weekdays, weekends, early morning, afternoon, and evening shifts.
- Customer Service Skills: You will enjoy interacting with guests and have excellent customer service skills.
- Teamwork and Communication: You will be a team player and happy to help your colleagues out, and have good communication skills.
- Organizational Skills: You will work efficiently and in a well-structured way, and have good organizational skills.
- Experience in Hospitality: Ideally, you will already have experience in hospitality or service, but we are happy to train the right candidate.
