We are currently seeking a Finance Intern to join our team in Amsterdam. As a Finance Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our Real Estate team and gain valuable experience in the field of corporate finance.

Your Future Responsibilities

As a Trainee with Alter Domus, you will be responsible for a portfolio of clients and will work as part of a team to achieve and meet their needs. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Handling day-to-day operations of companies and responding to clients' requests
  • Assisting with the bookkeeping of a number of property-, financing-, and holding companies
  • Preparing financial reporting, including cash flow management
  • Preparing and coordinating payments and related transaction monitoring
  • Maintaining contacts with property managers, asset managers, tax advisors, lawyers etc.
  • Assisting with the preparation of corporate and VAT returns and maintaining relevant contact with tax authorities and tax advisers
  • Taking part in restructuring plans or other transactions in compliance with recommendations of the local regulatory body, including spin-offs, mergers, and acquisitions

Your Profile

We are looking for a candidate who holds or is currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics. Fluency in English and Dutch is also required.
