Your Role

As a key contributor to our technology initiatives, you will engage in projects such as Investment Onboarding. In your capacity as a backend engineer, your responsibilities will encompass the design, testing, and maintenance of software solutions. Your areas of focus will include:

  • Creating APIs that are both scalable and efficient.
  • Developing and sustaining application code utilizing Java 17, Spring Boot, and Camunda.
  • Delivering robust software solutions in the Azure Cloud environment or on-premises.
  • Collaborating within a DevOps team, exercising autonomy, and actively participating in team decision-making.
  • Engaging in training and development opportunities as outlined in your personalized growth plan.
  • Working collaboratively with fellow team members.
  • Contributing to relevant communities such as Java, BPM, and Azure.

Your Profile

Are you the right fit? Here are the minimum qualifications we are looking for:

  • Up to 5 years of experience in software development using Java, with a strong background in building microservices through a RESTful architecture that integrates with various systems.
  • Practical experience with frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, JDBC, and familiarity with consuming SOAP services and REST APIs.
  • Experience in designing and modeling APIs that are hosted on an API gateway.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Azure Cloud and Azure DevOps is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of API development aspects like security, custom analytics, caching, logging, and request/response modifications.
  • Experience in delivering high-quality software in line with standards set by CI tools such as Sonarqube, Fortify, and Nexus.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), version control, and change management processes.
  • Experience in creating REST API documentation, preferably using tools like Swagger and YAML.
  • Understanding of security frameworks such as JWT and OAuth2.
