## Job Title: Chartering Broker

## Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Chartering Broker to join our team at Anthony Veder. As a Chartering Broker, you will be responsible for optimizing the utilization of our fleet, negotiating contracts with customers, and managing chartering operations.

## Key Responsibilities

* Optimize chartering of the AV fleet to maximize revenue and utilization
* Negotiate and conclude contracts with customers, including contracts of affreightment and time- and spot charters
* Schedule fleet operations and manage chartering contracts
* Collaborate with other departments to achieve maximum fleet utilization
* Monitor market developments and stay up-to-date on industry trends

## Requirements

* Bachelor degree or equivalent
* Affinity with commercial issues and maritime transport
* Fluent in English (written and verbally)
* Quality-driven with excellent communication skills
* Strong team player
* Strong negotiating skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Flexible approach to working hours when required
* Experience in tanker shipping is preferred
