As a (Senior) PMO Officer, you will be responsible for challenging the triple constraint (scope, timing, budget) as a recognized business partner, to optimize business value. You will drive effective decision making on all levels as a trusted 'advisor' of the Product Development Manager and his cross-sectoral Product Team. You will also implement and improve project (program) standards and processes, e.g., related to project planning, financial management, product generation process, reporting, change control, risk management, and quality.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Challenging the triple constraint to optimize business value
  2. Driving effective decision making as a trusted advisor
  3. Implementing and improving project standards and processes
  4. Providing guidance during the financial forecasting process
  5. Proactively connecting, enabling, and challenging stakeholders
  6. Driving completeness of all inputs from deciders in the product generation process
  7. Growing people and team competences of PMO and ASML's Project Management community
Requirements

We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Project Management, Engineering, or other relevant fields. At least 5 years of working experience as a PM(O) expert or practical experience as a project manager in a complex, multi-disciplinary environment is required. Experience with implementation of change and improvement projects, MS Project Online, or a similar tool, and Agile/SAFe environment is preferred. Strong communication skills, ability to guide, coach, and advise at all organizational levels, and team player with the ability to work independently are essential.

Context of the Position

This role is positioned within ASML's Program Management Office (PMO) where we optimize business value in project, program, and portfolio execution to strengthen our competitive position. We enable critical practicalities, logistics, and administration are handled efficiently. By driving establishment of execution according to expected standards and Way of Working, we actively identify risks and ensure implementation of solutions that minimize impact on triple constraints.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Project Management, Engineering, or other relevant fields

At least 5 years of working experience as a PM(O) expert or practical experience as a project manager in a complex, multi-disciplinary environment

Experience with implementation of change and improvement projects

Experience with MS Project Online or a similar tool

Experience in an Agile/SAFe environment is preferred
