Overview of the Position
As a Senior High Pressure Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role within the high pressure system design competence at ASML. This formal entity is dedicated to knowledge preservation, scalability through sharing, and adaptation of expertise. Your responsibilities will include establishing industry standards and best practices, as well as providing training and mentorship to fellow employees. You will explore innovative areas within the high pressure domain.
The high pressure system design competence is integral to the EUV source, where we engage with specialized fluids, unique materials, and designs that challenge existing international standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will guide and empower the Design & Engineering (D&E) community involved in the development of high pressure systems at ASML.
You will cultivate a robust network of stakeholders across various sectors and serve as the central repository of expert knowledge.
You will co-create and enhance ASML's high pressure requirements, drawing insights from past experiences and future development plans.
As a Senior High Pressure Systems Engineer, your duties will include:
- Taking ownership of your responsibilities and driving them to completion while maintaining open communication with your team and stakeholders.
- Being a dependable partner for your stakeholders.
- Contributing to the development strategy and initiatives of the team.
- Assisting in the training and development of our D&E community.
- Reviewing and interpreting standards and regulations, and where necessary, translating them into consolidated requirements for ASML.
Qualifications and Experience
To address the technical challenges we encounter, you will need substantial experience with high pressure standards, requirements, products, and complex processes. As a Senior High Pressure Systems Engineer, you should possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant field.
- Familiarity with ASME B31.3, ASME BPVC VIII, and PED2014_68_EU.
- Knowledge of ASME FEM and piping/vessel design software is advantageous.
