About the Role

CSC Crewing BV is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master to join our team. As a Master, you will be responsible for the supervision of cargo handling, ballast, and cargo-related operations, as well as ensuring the efficient and economical operation of the Deck Department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare the vessel for departure, arrival, anchorage, and mooring
  • Keep records of maintenance in the vessel's PM-system file
  • Conduct daily inspections of the Deck Department and develop deck officers on board
  • Implement proactive measures to continually improve vessel operations

Requirements

  • Hold a valid Certificate of Competence Master below 3000 GT or no limitation
  • Have a valid passport, seaman's book, and medical certificate
  • Hold valid STCW documents (minimum = AFF, BST, SSO, MFA, MC, GMDSS, ECDIS (Transas preferred))
  • Have at least 2 years of experience on General Cargo vessels as Master
  • Be a team player with a flexible attitude
  • Speak and write fluent English
  • Enjoy working in an international environment
  • Have a strong awareness of Health, Safety, and Environment
