About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Supply Chain Excellence Manager to join our team at Neways Electronics International NV.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers through regular meetings, visits, and field observations.
  • Developing and maturing Supplier Quality processes, systems, and leading Supplier Quality engineering competence across sites.
  • Driving continuous improvement of top strategic suppliers.
  • Evaluating and approving new suppliers to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Negotiating and implementing supplier quality agreements.
  • Planning and conducting supplier audits, reporting action plans, and following up on countermeasures.
  • Identifying and executing quality improvement projects across sites and functions.
  • Monitoring supplier performance, tracking key metrics, and initiating investigations or improvements as needed.

Your Profile & DNA

To excel in this role, you will possess strong soft skills, be a conceptual thinker, and have the ability to pragmatically apply your ideas within Neways' framework. Your persuasiveness will enable you to make a significant impact, while your entrepreneurial mindset, patience, decisiveness, and hands-on attitude will contribute to successfully navigating daily dynamics.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in industrial engineering or industrial management.
  • In-depth understanding of ISO standards (ISO13485, ISO9001, ISO14001, IATF16949) and relevant Q&ESH legislation.
  • Certified auditor VDA6.3 and blackbelt certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with people at all levels of the organization and suppliers.
  • Experience working in a diverse and remote team environment.
  • Good English language skills, both written and spoken, with German being an asset.
  • Availability to travel 15-20% for locations and suppliers.
