Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maritime Technical Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for investigating technical and financial aspects of damage and reporting on your findings to clients. This will involve establishing contacts with shipyards and machine factories, conducting condition assessments and valuations of ships, and providing expert advice to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate technical and financial aspects of damage and report on findings to clients
  • Establish contacts with shipyards and machine factories
  • Conduct condition assessments and valuations of ships
  • Provide expert advice to clients
  • Work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality results
Requirements
  • Education level: HBO towards Marof/SWTK or HTS maritime technology
  • Experience in shipping
  • Technical knowledge and experience to assess situations independently
  • Excellent oral and written expression skills in Dutch and English, and preferably German
  • Living in the Rotterdam area or willingness to settle here
  • Flexible deployment and willingness to perform service in 24-hour availability
