About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Technical Draughtsperson to join our team at Fender Innovations B.V. as a CAD Technician.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and models of fender systems for ships and other maritime applications using Rhinoceros 7 software.

Responsibilities
  • Drawing fender systems, moulds, and other related components
  • Contributing to the creative and development process of fender systems
  • Preparing calculations for quotations and planning folder preparation for fender production
  • Checking the quality of produced fender systems and explaining drawings to colleagues in the production team
Requirements
  • Senior vocational education in shipbuilding, mechanical engineering, construction, or similar experience
  • Ample experience in 3D drawing with Rhinoceros 7 software
  • Experience with calculating and drawing up quotations is preferred
  • An eye for quality, sense of responsibility, accuracy, and independence
  • Thorough knowledge of technical drawings
  • A team player who communicates easily with customers, suppliers, and colleagues
